Since 1988 volunteer nurses in Affinity Medical Center’s WellnessWatch program have served the community by providing free blood pressure checks and low-cost glucose and cholesterol screenings. By conducting the health screenings at local industries and community organizations, our goal is to educate community members on cardiovascular disease and help them to identify potential risk factors.

Did you know that in Stark County heart disease is:

• The leading cause of death for residents 65 and older
• The second leading cause for those 45-64
• The third leading cause for ages 25-44
