PGY1 Year:
- 3 Months of General Orthopedic Surgery
- 1 Month of Elective Surgery
- 1 Month of General Surgery
- 1 Month of Elective Rotation
- 1 Month split between Anesthesia and Radiology
- 1 Month of Emergency Medicine
- 1 Month of In-Patient Internal Medicine
- 1 Month of Night Float In-Patient Internal Medicine
- 1 Month of Family Practice
- 1 Month of OB/GYN
- Call is dependent on rotation and orthopedic call is determined by chief resident
PGY2 Year:
- Bimonthly rotation among attending physician services
- Continual coverage of Orthopedic Ambulatory Care Clinic when not operating
- Call is 1:4 to 1:5
PGY3 Year:
- 9 months of monthly rotation among attending physician services
- 9 months of continual coverage of Orthopedic Ambulatory Care Clinic when not operating while in house
- 3 months of Pediatric Orthopedics at Akron Children's Hospital, Akron, OH
- Call is 1:4 to 1:5 while in house and at the discretion of Akron Children's for out of house rotation
PGY4 Year:
- 3 months of monthly rotation among attending physician services
- 3 months of continual coverage of Orthopedic Ambulatory Care Clinic when not operating while in house
- 3 months of Pediatric Orthopedics at Akron Children's Hospital, Akron, OH
- 3 months of Orthopedic Trauma at a major Trauma I center - Grant Hospital, Columbus, OH or with the orthopedic traumatologists of the OrthoIndy group, Indianapolis, IN
- 3 months of elective orthopedic subspecialty training
- Call is 1:4 to 1:5 while in house and at the discretion of the center for out of house rotations
PGY5 Year:
- Bimonthly rotation among attending physician services
- Continual management and coverage of Orthopedic Ambulatory Care Clinic when not operating
- Chief resident responsibilities ongoing (ie scheduling, didactic curriculum management, OITE preparation, overseeing clinic, etc...)
- Call is 1:4 to 1:5
