MASSILLON, OH – February 5, 2013 – Every year, more than 400,000 U.S. women die of heart disease. That's why we're inviting you to wrap yourself in red and join other women in the community for a fun and educational Tea Luncheon that's focused on improving your heart and cardiovascular health. Affinity Medical Center is pleased to support the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women nationwide movement that celebrates the energy, passion and power women have to band together and wipe out heart disease.
Join us for Heart Health is Brewing - Women and Heart Disease on Thursday, February 21st at 11 a.m. at The Massillon Women's Club located at 210 4th Street NE, Massillon.
Doors open at 11 a.m. with Heart Risk Assessments, Health Screenings, Ask a Doc booth and Raffle Baskets. The Tea Luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m., followed by feature speaker Gregory C. Kloehn, M.D. Cardiologist with Affinity Specialty Physicians.
